Customers
The central record every onboarding, contact, and task hangs off of.
A Customer in Pivotal is a company you’re onboarding or supporting. Every onboarding, contact, task, comment, and webhook in the app traces back to one Customer record. If you’ve connected HubSpot or Stripe, your CRM accounts flow in as Customers with the same domain and owner you set there.
Each Customer has a short canonical shape: name, domain, owner, plan, a numeric display_id you see in the URL bar (Customers > #42), and a status of active, at_risk, churned, or archived. Tags and custom fields sit on top so you can slice the list however your team needs.
⌘K from anywhere. Matches name, domain, contact emails, and any custom field. See Search customers.display_id. /customers/42 always resolves, even after a rename.field:value.Email help@pivotal.app with a screenshot of where you got stuck and the customer or onboarding id from the URL.
